Because of the piano’s age / make, should I be looking for a tuner that has a particular expertise or experience, or will most RPT or otherwise qualified piano tuners suffice? We’re located west of Philly in the Chester county area. Thanks very much! admin on June 26, 2012 at 8:22 pm We definitely recommend finding a tuner technician in your area that has the expertise to do repairs as well. They can fix most stuck keys, replace strings, and many other minor repairs. They will also be able to tell you if it is worth getting a full restoration.
